Nicole Reinhardt elected Chair of the Academic Advisory Board of the DHI Paris
IEG Director Nicole Reinhardt was elected Chair of the Academic Advisory Board of the Deutsches Historisches Institut Paris (DHIP) this month. She succeeds Claudine Moulin (University of Trier). The DHIP writes in its newsletter that it is looking forward to ‘continuing the productive collaboration with the advisory board in a new constellation’ (Translation by IEG).

The Deutsches Historisches Institut Paris researches the history of France, particularly in its relationship to Germany, Europe and the world. As part of the Max Weber Foundation, the Institute promotes exchange between German and French historical science under the motto ‘Research - Mediation - Qualification’.
The historians at the DHIP, who are anchored in both German and French academic culture, conduct research on topics relating to Western European history from late antiquity to the contemporary period. Cross-project themes and questions form the framework for both the individual research projects based at the Institute and for the collaborations with research groups external to the Institute.
