New publication "Projektmanagement und Digital Humanities. Zur klugen Gestaltung der Zusammenarbeit"

Fabian Cremer and Thorsten Wübbena, research associates at the IEG, together with Swantje Dogunke (ThULB Jena) and Anna Maria Neubert (University of Bielefeld), have published the volume "Projektmanagement und Digital Humanities. Zur klugen Gestaltung der Zusammenarbeit".


The framework conditions for projects in the digital humanities can be challenging: On the one hand, the innovation expectations of participating institutions and funding bodies are unchecked. On the other hand, the coordination of interdisciplinary, complex large-scale projects and the development of research infrastructure and services require a professionalization of project management. The contributors provide insights into different practices and bring together perspectives from the specialist community. In doing so, they take the first step towards bringing this field of activity into the German-speaking specialist discourse - and use theory-based reflections to highlight methodological approaches for the further development of science management.
