We are delighted to welcome Professor Arie Dubnov to Mainz!

We are delighted to welcome Arie Dubnov as a new Senior Research Fellow from June 17, 2024. During his six weeks in Mainz, Arie Dubnov will conduct research on his topic "Dreamers of the Third Empire: Zionism at the Age of Imperial Federalism".



Arie Dubnov is Professor of History and International Affairs and holds the Max Ticktin Chair in Israel Studies at George Washington University in Washington, DC. His research focuses on modern Jewish and European history and the history of the modern Middle East.

On 9 July, 4 p.m., Arie Dubnov will speak at the IEG's public research colloquium on: "Dreamers of the Third Empire: Zionism at the Age of Imperial Federalism". Online participation is possible via WebEx. See the link below. The event will be held in English.
