The IEG will be at the 22nd Mainz Science Market on 7 and 8 September; you will find us in tent 22 in front of the theatre (see link to map). Experience our "Academic Speed Dating" and get to know our fellows from all over the world and their research topics on European history. Around 20 fellows from all over the world live and research at the IEG at any time of the year. They come to Mainz for 6 - 12 months to continue their academic work on Europe and its history and to benefit from our international research environment. They are supported by their mentors. At the Science Market 2024, our fellows and their mentors will present the IEG fellowship programme and their research topics. Learn more about the diversity of international research at the IEG and get to know the young international researchers and their different perspectives on Europe, its history and, of course, Mainz.
